First of all, many teens are old and mature enough to explore their sexuality. Second, ways to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases are readily available. Last, but not least, there are also alternate methods of sex teens can try.
In our society today, teenagers are becoming more mature and thoughtful about sexual practices. That means they should be able to check out their own sexual abilities. Teens will be able improve their sexual organs more efficiently. Then, they can have better quality sex when they become adults. Today’s teens are also more intelligent and self conscious. So it will be easier for them to control the sexual craving and handle the emotional aftermath. In addition, sex gives people positive feelings so teens will feel much happier. This is the first reason why teenagers should have the right to engage in premarital sex.
Due to advances in sexual practices, teenagers have the advantage to protect their sex. One of the most simple and effective ways are condoms. They are inexpensive and readily available on the market. Condoms reduce the risk of pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases by more than 85%. There are also other protection methods such as birth control or STD vaccinations, but they are much harder to access. Therefore, condoms are the best solution. Most condoms are made out of lubricated latex to ensure protection, comfort, and quality, all at once. This is the second reason why teenagers should have the right to engage in premarital sex.
Anal and vaginal sex can be a little risky; so many teenagers do not have enough courage to try it. But, some safe alternative methods have been invented in past few decades. Teens can try oral, ear, or nasal sex. Sperm can be mixed with sugar to give better taste. Moreover, the female partner has absolutely no chance of getting pregnant. The risk of contracting an STD is also very low. These forms of sexual practice do not have a powerful emotional affect. That is because the partners are less attached. These methods also consume less sexual energy and stimulant from the body. This is the third and reason why teenagers should have the right to engage in premarital sex.
Many people think it is best for teenagers to be abstinent. But, it is time for teens to value their thoughts and opinions. They should take advice from others, but in the end, they make their own decisions. Therefore, I strongly believe that teenagers should have the right to engage in premarital sex.
